Can one experience the physiological effect of travelling at the speed of light with some type of simulation?

Brian C asked:

It has been said that as a person travels faster or more near the speed of light from an idle position they age slower. My question is that it is not th speed at which one travels but moreso the effect that speed has on the brain of the person. What iff there were a way to manipulate “going the speed of light in the brain” without actually travelling that fast? Is this why some people who are ill mentally with mania or some kind of schizoaffective disorder look 15+years younger than they are, because their mind is raceing so fast? That is, would you agree that it is not directly travelling at the speed of light that manipulates an anti-ageing effect but what happens inthe brain.

Tips for you

  1. No i don’t think so that the speed of light manipulates our brain, You have given the example of one mind racing but think about its opposite. We can certainly have the simulation to experience that we are traveling with the speed of light, but it will called as an illusion and not simulation.

  2. That fact that one ages slower the faster one is traveling has nothing to do with anything psychological. It is because time actually slows down the faster you are moving. The person moving at that high speed wouldn’t notice the difference though, but if he returned to home he would have aged differently than everyone else.

  3. My dear if you can bear the experience it will be a big breakthrough.

Then the only things remaining would be to develop the technology….since you are already tested and ready for the big experimentation.

But still, slowing time at the speed of light is untill now a pure physical phenomenon (which results into your ageing slower relative to others) and cannot be brought about by mere psycological dreams.
