Belize city is not the savest country in the world…..on the islands there are lots of mosquitos……
A must is diving….snorkeling with nurse sharks and manta rays
at least glass bottom boat….

I have been to Belize in 2001 and it was awesome! We had so much fun. Make sure to bring bug repellant for the tiny sand flies, sun screen for the hot sun and don’t go snorkling in the clear waters for a long time, or you’ll look like a fried lobster. Trust me, I did it and my ankles and back swool and I couldn’t walk very far for a couple of days. I practically lived in the shower and my bed. The people are really nice, I found and the scenery beautiful. If I had a chance to go back again, I would in a heart beat! Oh ya and the food it awesome!
By the way, just out of curiosity, what area is your mission trip going to if it schedules to go?
