kelly m asked:
Will be travelling to Peru, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Brazil, Rio, Venezuela – Hostols/Food/Travel Costs needed?

Budget for food, hostels, flights, travel like buses or taxi’s, spending money, activities and sight seeing. Do a bit of research on the area and see their average prices etc.
Depemds on the kind of hotel.. but a good hotel will run $100.00 and up. If you are thinking Hostel.. $20.00 per night or less. Food, if you eat local, typical food, might be $8 – $10. So min I would say $40.00 a day. Max? Skys the limit.
well for 2 people on a discret budget I would say $70-$80 day per person including hotel. Of course, this is average depending on what hotel are you staying, what kind of restaurants and others. Depending wath part of the city you are in, it can be as expensive as here in the US. (example cab ride cost me $70 from the airport to Caracas in Venezuela, but food was only $7 a meal)
In Venezuela… if you’re going to a nice hotel, I think the night is about $200-500$
Food… if you want to taste the national foods from there… IT’LL BE VERY CHEAP.
Travel.. Kind of expensive.
In fact, Venezuela is not that expensive.
In Brazil (Rio de Janeiro) depends at the hotel that you will stay I advise to you to be accommodated in the neighborhood of Barra da Tijuca is not accommodated at Copacabana that is a place very explored by tourist’s thieves.
A dollar costs R$ 1,60 real, a Big Mac costs R$ 5,80 a Coke costs R$ 2,00, the bus tariff inside of the city it costs R$ 2,10, a taxi downtown to Barra da Tijuca costs + / – R$ 25,00.
I visited Argentina and the cost of there corresponds + / – the same of Rio de Janeiro.
