Hi, I think that your son is the most important person and being away from him for such a long time isn’t a good thing….just think about all the things you’d miss. Your girlfriend should understand this. It would kill me to be away from my son for even a week let alone 10 months but at the end of the day its your choice and only you can make the decision.

Your son comes first. If he was older travelling for ten months should be OK, but at this age? No way.
