How would I go about getting a job travelling the world, you know for a programme or something about world cultures…? Where a tv company pays you to travel and comment and show everybody the world like on Globe Trekker!

  1. Just imitate this guy…

  2. My suggestion would be just to pack up your things and go. There are lots of jobs you could do.
I packed up my things and went to Goa for a few months, got a really good job working with a club, promoting etc. that is where i heard about this programme for kids in zambia and flew there for a few months.

To be honest, you wont hear about them if you dont look. Search the internet for jobs in a third world country – or jobs as a club rep or something.

Worst comes to worst, you can always become an air hostess!

  3. i want to do the same thing i asked a similar question!
i tried going on to but most of the job offers are taken. Maybe a cameraperson for a travel show?
    thats what im gonna try.

    good luck

  4. be a marketing executive of a multi-national firm making exports to variety of areas in world

  5. Getting a job with a television show or something similar would require experience or training in that area of work. If your main interest is in travel and cultural immersion, rather than in entertainment or education, that’s probably not the best path for you.

My recommendation is that you research teaching English as a second language. There are many companies that hire average English-speakers to travel to various world locations to teach their language. Alternately, if you are more interested in travel than in culture, you might consider working with a travel agency of some sort (ie, as a airline steward/ess, on a boat or freight company, etc).
