What are Chinese tourists attracted to when chosing a destination for vacation?

I understand they are not usually fond of beach destinations, so what do they enjoy the most? Museums, eco-tourism, shopping, amusement parks?
I am not trying to figure out what to do in China, I am trying to figure out what countries Chinese people would be interested in visiting, and why. i.e. would they like Mexico? if so, what parts and what are they attracted to? The food, the pyramids, the museums, the parks?

many chinese have no idea where to go, to a great degree, they choose place under others’ guidance, such as travel agency, relatives…. as for what are they attracted, coz each people differs from another, so it’s hard to say, but one point im sure is what ive said, they choose places under others’ guidance.

ha ha,u find the right person!
if u want to visit museums,go to Beijing and the northeast part of china.
if u want to go shopping,go to hong kong
if u want eco-tourism,go to inner Mongolia,Tibet or southeast
if u want amusement parks,there is a Disney in hongkong
i ‘ll recommend a ethnic minority tour,maybe you know china has 55 minorities,different clothes,customs……very interesting!if u still need more details ,u can contact me by msn:yaoting333@hotmail.com
