Hey, i need some information on the town of Ellesmere Port, i have never been there and i have been told it is a quite good place to go in Cheshire. Can anybody please help by providing necessary information on the area itself and any of its features as i am planning to view many different locations in Cheshire including Ellesmere Port.

No! Go to Chester or Liverpool. They do have the canal boat museum and a large aquarium there is nothing wrong with that little town which is pleasant so far a I know but the other two are better and ellesmere Port is easy to get to from either
Ellesmere port is a large industrial port town on the Wirral with a canal boat museum, All around can be heard the beep beep beep from the container stacking cranes.
Perhaps you should look at Ellesmere in Shropshire, a small picturesque lakeside (mere) town.
The two locations are linked by a canal, the port was named after the town when the canal was built.
Contact the Cheshire Tourist Information Office and they will send you loads of “What’s On” and “Things to see and do” all around the area.
You’ll find contact details on the internet.
