I’m traveling this summer in Brazil with a few days in Argentina, I am an 18 year old girl (will be 19 half way into travels) so obviously I’ll feel a bit vulnerable if I went with just a debit card and cash in my pocket. I realize currency is reias but a lot of places ask also for dollars, and Argentina has a different currency again…

I’m planning to go travelling next Summer and just wanted some tips and advice from people who have been travelling before, and any good websites that I could use? Also how much would you say I need?

Here’s my plan:- July and half of august… Rio > Ilha grande > Paraty > Iguassu > Rio again for flight to Manaus > a day in Manaus then 10 day jungle tour >flight back to Rio Flight home

Two of us going to Oz – plan to buy campervan and travel around for about a year – what sort of budget do you reckon we should go with? Want to do as much as possible but not going to do anything outrageously expensive… No definite plan as not done it before so waiting to see how it goes – just taking is as it comes which may/may not make...
